There are many things that make me and individual and I love it about me. I plan on joining track, I like to play videogames, I like to build Legos, and I also have really good patience. I think the things I have also been through also shape who I am because its gives me a lesson to learn from. I’m not really in to sports but I want to get involved in high school with track because I’m fast I think that I would be good at it because I have the spend for it now I just need to practice. I also think videogames played a big role because I stayed inside most of my childhood and didn’t get that involved with people my age and as I got older realized that it doesn’t matter what people think just find people who like you for what you are. Also I like Legos because I like building things but not with just blocks it just always made me happy seeing something like from a game and it being in Lego form and it being hand held. I have very good patience and I think that is good because I can tolerate with things and shapes my personality. These are things that I feel help shape who I am and what I have become.
ReplyDeleteI think it is very good to be and individual and stand out and be who you are. Reasons for this are people all the time want to fit in for reasons of their own. It is a shame that people want to fit in because they get made fun of weight, what they like, music, or looks it can be anything so that’s what people do. I think the best way to solve that is be you and don’t let other people tell you what you should be. I think that if you live like that, it’s not living you should be able to live happily with what you like and don’t let it bother you be who you are. These are reasons why I think it is good to be and individual and not follow the crowd.

DeleteWhat makes me an individual is the things that I like doing and how my personality is. Most people know me for the type of person that I am and the things that I do. Things that makes me an individual is that I like making videos on YouTube for the fun of it and I like playing football for gym and get mad interceptions some of the time. Some people know me from middle school when I was in 7th grade so most of them know how I was previously. What makes us an individual is not acting like everyone else, like "Ali-A" is a youtuber who loves making videos for YouTube about Call Of Duty and other games. While on the other hand there could be someone who likes playing an instrument such as "Stevie Wonder". What I am trying to say is people like doing different things which is what makes everyone an individual. People mostly think of me and I think of myself as a nice guy who loves playing sports and loves making gaming videos on YouTube. A couple of people know me for that reason and some of them are Eddie, Dan, and Charlie. Some people could think of me as a complete stranger. But, I know that I like who I am and I know the things that I love to do that lots of people know me for. You could like playing basketball or bowling or even Checkers but that is what makes everyone an individual like me and many others. Also it means not to do the same things as everyone else. For example, a lot of people will try out for the basketball team this year because it is popular. Maybe a person will try out for the bowling team because they do not try to follow the crowd, they want to be different then everyone else because they are an individual. Also being an individual means to not be a follower. I am an individual. This is because I like things because I like them, not because a group of people like it. Also I do different activities that I like, not activities that my friends like themselves. I like playing sports such as Basketball, Baseball, and Football. I like playing those sports because I enjoy playing them and it is different because I have never done it before. I think it is important to be an individual. This is because if there were no individuals, everyone is going to be and do the same things. Individuals separate followers from there follow. Individuals are needed. For example, Lamarcus Aldridge. Lamarcus Aldridge is a power forward / center in the NBA. Usually big guys don’t shoot the ball out of the post. Lamarcus can. He can because he is an individual. When he entered the league, he didn’t just want to be usual big man, he wanted to expand his game so he can be a better big guy and different than most. Now look at Lamarcus Aldridge, he is a 3 time All-star because he became an individual. That is what I think of individuality and if it is important to have individuals to me.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of things that makes everyone a individual. To start, everyone has a different taste of music. Not everybody likes Rap and Pop music. Other people might like Country and Classic Rock. For a example, My Father likes Pop and Dance music as for me I like Deathcore and Down Tempo bands like Black Tongue, Rings of Saturn, and Traitors. Another thing that makes everyone a individual is what kind of movies and T.V. shows they watch. It might sound funny but it is the truth. If someone likes Sponge bob then you can assume that they like colorful and goofy cartoons compared to someone who likes Walking Dead that is serious and dark you can assume they like horror and dispense. I’m not saying you can’t like both because I love Adventure Time and Walking Dead and American Horror story. I’m going to write down a list and show you how I’m a individual.

I think being a Individual is important.the reason being is that if everyone was the same life would be boring. Think of a life if everyone was the same. There would be no different kinds of music, there would only be one T.V. show, and all the conversations would just be the same thing and there would be no arguments because everyone is thinking the same way. So that’s why it is important to be a individual instead of following the crowd.
I agree with with you because life would be boring if you really think about it. Everyone would like the same sport, video games and food. Being an individual is really important in life becuase if youfollow someone whose bad you won't be able to do the things you like to do in life. I also agree beause if everyone's the same and everyone follows their best friend then you won't be able to live life to the fullest and live life how to always wanted to live. Like for me its going to the NBA, i can't do that if im always following my best friend and doing what they always do. In order to an individual you have to be different. ReplyDeleteThe choices that I make make me who I am. If we had people choosing what we were going to be doing its wouldn't be and it could possible lead to everyone doing the same thing. Also another is the way that I dress. I used to be really girly and wear dresses and skirts like every other girl. I soon realized that that wasn't who I was. Most girls are usually wearing those things, where I would rather wear skinny jeans, a band tee and vans. I like the "skater" kind of look. Now most people would consider it "emo", "goth", or sometimes "scene". It's stupid to label somebody. I don't usually see a lot of people wearing black everyday like me or wearing dark makeup. The music that I listen too also goes with the way I dress. I wear band shirts that say Suicide Silence or Asking Alexandria. I know most girls don't wear things that say that. I would prefer black skinny jeans than dark blue or light blue skinny jeans. It's just the person that I am. It makes me an individual because I'm not the "same". The sports that I play can make me an individual. Not everyone does sports. It doesn't mean you're the same if you do them either. Everyone has their own mind about everything. I play volleyball. A lot of people don't know how to play real volleyball. Who cares you honestly don't need to.
Yes I think it is important to be an individual. I think this because you're not the same as everybody else. You're not dressing or doing the same things other people are. You do what you'd like to do. That's what makes you an individual. Like I said the way I dress. Many people don't wear things like that. I do and it's me. It's nobody else.
I agree with you Megan because I also used to wear girly clothes but I realized that it wasn't really me. You should do whatever makes you a individual and don't let people change what you listen to our how you like to dress.
DeleteIn my opinion I am a very individual person. In this blog I will be sharing with you why I believe I am a very individual person. One of those reasons is that I possess the knowledge to surf. I love to going to the beach and surfing with my family. I also enjoy other aspects of the beach like laying on the warm beach sand and going out really far to see different sea life that you cannot see closer to the shore. Some of my favorite singers/bands are MGMT, rudimental, milky chance, and mac miller. I have two dogs at my mom’s house their names are Sadie and Belle. I also have two dogs at my dad’s house their names are sparky and Willie. I like Sadie and Belle better than sparky and Willie. I like to play basketball. And I throw shot put in track. I think the flaws that people have make them more special because nobody else has the exact same ones as you do.

I like to sing even if i'm not good, I like to dance, I love taking pictures of landscapes, I like a certain type of music, etc. Other people of course will like other things than I do, but that's what makes us an individual. If we all liked the exact same thing or did the exact same thing we wouldn't be individuals. We wouldn't be unique or special because whats so special about liking the same things as everyone else. When I go to school I want people to like me for who I am not because I follow them around like a lost puppy and do everything they do. Everyone and anyone who acts like someone their not they will go home and be depressed because they aren't being themselves. It's like being actor for the rest of your life. To me I want to be friends with people who are themselves and are different. Can you imagine how boring our life's would be if everyone we knew were the same? Opposites attract for a reason, it brings interest, amusement, happiness, and fun into your life. In the short story, The Initiation, it shows how Millicent wants to be apart of a group, but then wants to an individual. She wanted to be like everyone in the sorority, but then she remembers the heather birds. Imagining how they were colorful, how free they looked as they would fly around being themselves. She wanted to be a heather bird, and I understand how she feels, I want to be a heather bird too. I want to be myself and that's what makes me an individual, being myself.

I am not that good because I don't play in any type of league. I just play it for fun.If all of us were acting the same or liking the same things the world would be very boring. What really makes people an individual? Peoples personality, hobbies, characteristics make a person an individual. Everybody is different in their own way. Some people can have different personalities or hobbies then other people. What makes me an individual is what i look like. I have red hair, freckles, blue eyes. Other people have brown hair or green eyes. But what i look like makes me, me. Also my hobbies make me my own person. I do not play sports, and i do not like sports that much. I'm in color guard, i am also in drama, and chamber choir. I like doing the things i do. Its fun and enjoying for me. Maybe people don't like what i do, but thats their opinion. Thats what makes them them. Another thing that makes me an individual is my personality. Ive heard that my personality is very bright loving, and excitable. That makes me that kind of person.

Some of the things that make me an individual are that I love playing videogames, watching anime and my love for soccer. First, playing videogames makes me an individual because what I do, other people might not do. Another thing that makes me an individual is how I like to watch anime. When I watch anime I feel like others can’t tell me that it’s weird and I should watch what they watch. Finally, I love playing soccer. If in a soccer game we had no positions which make us an individual, no one would have options to shoot because we would all follow what one person does. I think that being an individual is really important because if we all followed someone else’s actions, we would lose our chance to be ourselves and become someone that we aren’t. If we were all the same, we would wear the same clothes, speak the same language, be the same race and many other things also. If we were all the same, the world would be boring. We wouldn’t learn from others. For example, many companies would go out of business because we would all use the same computers, drive the same cars, and eat the same food. All companies that make the same things would go bankrupt because there would be no competition. There would be no choice of what we wanted to do in life. Another example is when the school said that we were going to get uniforms, everyone fought against it because uniforms would take away our individuality. DeleteMany people are parts of groups in school. There's the popular group, the sporty kids, the nerds & the smart kids, but everyone is an individual also. Many things make a person an individual. It could be the way they dress or the way the act or even their friends or their family life at home. Everybody does things differently and that's one thing that makes a person an individual. Things that make me an individual are that I play softball and I do dance, I do hip hop and jazz. Other people don't do that so it makes me an individual. If you do volunteer work, that makes you an individual because you're doing stuff on your own and you're helping out. I think it is very important to be an individual for many reasons. Some of those reason why it's very important to be an individual are because it makes you who you are. It makes me an individual because I may play games that other people don't or may not like. I don't play other games that everybody else plays because everybody may think it's a great game but I might not. Second, I love playing volleyball. Some people thinks it is a horrible sport or boring. I think it is fun and I love playing it. Last, I love playing soccer. A lot of people thinks it is boring and they think all it is that you run up and down the field kicking a ball but it's not. There is a lot of strategy in the game. How to score on net and how to get it up the field. I think being an individual is important. You should always be yourself. Don't always follow other people because they are cool or you think Being around then will make you cooler. It doesn't and sometimes hanging around with them could get you in trouble later on in life.

Also Ish plays keyboard, and yeah a lot of his friends may not like playing keyboard but that doesn't stop him from playing and not being himself. ReplyDeleteWhat makes me be an individual will be how I act and also on how I see things in the world.The way I act makes me an individual because I don’t really act like others that are around me, I don’t do the same things as they do too.For example if there are people who will talk and talk, I would just sit there and say nothing because I have nothing to say. Therefore seeing things in the world makes me an individual because I see the world as a game and that it repeats itself all over again but in a different way. Moving along, the things I mostly like to do and want to do will be reading, watching fantasy movies, documentaries,walking around and seeing how beautiful nature is, I will like to make my own garden, help others who need help , and probably inspire someone one day.Therefore I think being an individual is very important in life because if we were all the same wouldn't life be really boring.
