ReplyDelete"Immature love says, 'I love you because i need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you." I believe this means that immature love says they love people that they think they deserve and think are the love of there life but are to immature to notice that there too young and stupid to believe the truth that they believe that's person will actually be there with them the whole time and also that they don't know anything about love and how it works. But on the other hand, mature love is about people that need the people that they know are there one that they will make it through there life and is truly actually there for them and actually know that they deserve this person and want and truly do love them unlike how immature love is they think they love each other but truly don't know a single thing and make the wrong choices.
ReplyDeleteI also think this relates to romeo and juliet because they had mature love, they knew that they were right for each other and that they would make it through everything and that without each other the would crumble and fall and thats why they had committed suicide together because without each other they wouldn't be able to last so they took each others lives together so they wouldn't be depressed forever for not being able to be with each other so they ended it themselves together, in love. Thats what i believe "immature love says, ' I love you because i need you' mature love says, 'I need you because i love you'.
I agree with your comment 100 percent. I enjoyed it when you said Romeo and Juliet had a mature love. I also enjoyed when you said that was why they committed suicide.
Deletei agree that immature love would be a first sight thing. I dont think that that is really possible. And yes in romeo and juliet there are a lot of emaples of this quote. Romeo falls in love with Juliet at first sight. But he also liked a different girl before that.
Delete"immature love says, I love you because I need you, Mature love says, I need you because I love you." This quote was said by an anonymous person. I think this quote means that people who are older know what true love is. Going for the younger kids who say they love each other but it really is not true. Like the quote says I love you because I need you. That means that just because you have a boy friend or girl friend and you say you love them, its because that's what is expected. This quote means that you love them because you need them. But a more mature person needs somebody because they love them. Without that love you wouldn't need them. But because that feeling of need of them in your life, that's why you love them.
ReplyDeleteI think that this quote relates to what we are learning. The love of romeo and Juliet in this case. Its between the man, romeo, and a not so mature woman, Juliet. She is only 13. But in a way this is a mature love relationship. This is because romeo is older and knows what true love is. But for being a 13 year old girl, she is mature. So the type of love between the two is mature. They met for like 2 minutes and were kissing each other at a party. Juliet said she was never going to get married, but when she kissed him, it was for sure. They needed to be with each other for the rest of their lives. And that is what the love came from.
Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you." This quote means that immature love is fake and that you need that person not because you care but for a reason to benefit yourself. Mature love is real and you need that person because you care for them. In Romeo and Juliet , Romeo fell in love with Juliet the moment he saw her , he didn't know anything about her and he didn't care to know at the moment. Romeo only needed Juliet because of the way she looked . He completely forgot about Rosaline even though he loved her so much . Romeo and Juliet's love is obviously immature , they didn't bother to know each other but they say that they cant live without each other.
ReplyDeleteA wise man once said, "Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you,’ Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” This could mean many things to many different people. What I think it means is someone who doesn’t care would say they love you when they really don’t and they are just using you. Someone who actually does care would say they love you and shows affection for it. That’s how people know when they are the one. It’s not just based on looks, it’s also based on personality. That is why in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo fell in love with Rosaline, but Rosaline didn’t love Romeo. He had never talked to her, he was only amused by her looks. That is what I think the quote means.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between immature and mature love is that immature love shows that love is just using you as a slave basically. Mature love shows that both would do anything for each other. They care for each other and would let nothing happen to each other. This reminds me of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo falls in love with Juliet and when they both find out that they are both in different groups, they don’t love each other. That is an example of immature love. I don’t think there was an example of mature love. That is what I think the quote "Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you,’ Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” means.
i agree with your blog that immature love is just using someone just based on their looks and don't really love them but mature love is true love, i believe you wrote a good blog.
DeleteThe quote "Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you,” shows the way that people express their love, whether they understand it or not. When the quote states "Immature love says, 'I love you because i need you'," shows the lack of understanding the person saying the line has of what truly is. This part of the quote shows that when you are younger, people tend to say "I love you" with no real meaning behind it. For example, immature love would be a relationship based on lust, having no real bases of true love, trust, compassion, and understanding. The relationship would consist of unimportant aspects that true relationships would never really focus on. The second part of the quote states "Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” This could mean many different things, applying to mostly people with a higher maturity level, maybe referring to people in college and older, because they actually have an idea of what means to them. The love that a person has for another when you are older could significantly alter your life, considering that that person could be the person you could spend the rest of your life with. Knowing this, the understanding of love should be realized before really committing to that person. An example of mature love would be a relationship between two people who truly love each other, being completely committed to each other, having trust, kindness, and patience, because thats what a relationship should be based upon. The connection between Romeo and Juliet was that their love was not true. Their relationship together was based upon lust and physical attraction, not having the real components that a relationship should be based on. Their "love at first sight" was based on physical attraction, which could play a factor in the overall attraction of the person anyway, but since Romeo and Juliet's relationship lasted not even a week, the lust took over. Once this happened, their relationship went downhill, only to show the real outcome of immature relationships.
ReplyDelete"Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” I think this means that young people don't understand love. They say it because they are afraid of not being in a relationship like Romeo from "Romeo and Juliet". When Rosaline left him to be a nun Romeo was devastated. He was discouraged and upset and thought he was never going to find true love again. Even though he never actually did in the first place. When people mature into adults they realize that love is more important. That its a much stronger word. That word can really mean a lot or maybe everything to a lot of people. If used the wrong way it can really hurt someone special. So young people should really not use that word as often as they do and adults should really use it more often.
ReplyDeleteMature love is more serious. Immature love is fake for the most part. I dunno you could actually love each other like Corey Mathews and Topanga Lawrence (Boy Meets World reference) and end up getting married in the future. I feel as if adults are more realistic about it than like teens are.
I agree with your response. Immature love is fake and I think it isn't real. I also agree that adults are mature about love because they have more experience with love and they are more mature then teens.
DeleteI completely agree with your response and loved how you added Romeo and Juliet into your answer. And your opinion on love being fake was spot on.
Delete"Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” I think this quote is true. I think this means that immature love is if the person only loves them if they need them for something or do them favors all the time, but mature love is if the person wants them because they know that they trust them and appreciate what the person does for them. For example, Sometimes people use people for their needs and don't really love them. In the end they will realize that the person was using them so it will break the person's heart.
ReplyDeleteAnother example of immature love is if a person loves someone only for their looks. I think no one should love someone just for their looks but their personality. If you decide to love someone that is pretty then realize that they are mean and rude, then that isn't mature love.
That's why on the outside it doesn't matter its about the inside. Mature love is when you both have strong feelings for each other. You make that person love you even more if you show affection to them. Both of you count on each other and do everything together. That is what I think that quote means and what the difference is between mature love and immature love.
What this quote means to me, is that if you love somebody just because you need them, or feel like you need them at least; that is completely immature. On the other hand, if you need somebody because you honest and truly love them that is a completely different story. The difference between real love & true love in my opinion is just the basics. You cannot love somebody if you don't really know them; but that's just what I think. I don't believe Romeo loves Juliet, nor Rosaline. I think he is big on lust and will love anybody who even gives him a hint of attention. I think he's an example of immature love. There's no way that he could be madly in love with Juliet after just one night, I just don't believe in it. You cannot love somebody with such little experience and I don't believe that he has ever loved anybody. Immature love, is when you do not really love somebody, but lust for them. It is completely different than mature love where you would & will do anything for them. Real love really has to do with loving somebody for them, not what they look like; but what they believe in. Loving somebody for something as silly as a kiss is absolutely ridiculous, and I don't think that's real. Actually loving somebody will hurt you and may tear you apart at times, but you'll think it's worth it. I don't believe you ever truly give up on the person you love. Which I believe is not the case at all with Romeo. Romeo is very immature and vulnerable and would love a goat if it paid a slight bit of attention to him. I think Juliet is the same way, she will give up on anything if it gets too hard & only go for things if they are easy to do. They both do not know what they want to do with themselves, which makes their love very immature.
ReplyDeletethe difference between immature love and mature love is that when were young we might experience feelings for our boyfriend/girl and think we have all these feelings for them but do we actually?? can you say you really love that person with your heart? or do we just make ourselves believe that we are? when we get older we will realize what the true meaning of love is. but I've been in love well I thought I was. the feelings, the tears, and the sacrifices were real they felt real to me for the first time I experienced a heartbreak. I could feel the pain I actually thought I could hear my heart breaking like glass when i saw the person I was once in love with kiss another girl. yeah I may be young but the term love to me doesn't change. love is love its all the same.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with your statement. We can never truly love when we are younger but as time progresses we can make that change.
Delete"Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” I think the quote means Its a big difference between puppy love and true love. We can never truly love someone tho. We may think its love but you have to really go on for a long time . Only time will tell and in time you can find true love as in the mature love statement. The difference between immature and mature love is that immature love is that you think it is but you better think twice and mature is when you found it and you keep it for a long time. In romeo and Juliet, romeo and thought he love rosaline but he supposedly lost feelings for her when he saw juliet. He called it love at first sight.
ReplyDelete"Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you, Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” The author of the quote is unknown but the meaning is clear. I think this quote means that the older you are the more wise you get about certain topics. Such as love who would know more about love a 12 year old fantasizing about Justin bieber or a 67 year old man with a wife and kids. The author is saying that if you love someone just because you need them then it is immature. But if you love someone because you love them and that is why you need them it is mature. And by that I mean if you love someone for who they are and decide that you are going to love them for a while then decide you could not loose them that is mature. But seeing someone and liking their appearance and thinking you need to be with them is immature. By doing that you are basically tricking yourself into thinking you love them.
ReplyDeleteI think this quote relates to what we are learning this week and the weeks before. That Romeo and Juliet have a love just like in this poem. Romeos first love was immature because it was one unrequited and two easily gotten over. But Romeo and Juliet’s love was the matures love of there time. The two though they had just met had clicked almost immediately. They showed that not all loves at first sights are immature. Juliet had said she was never going to get married but in the end she marries Romeo who had changed her mind on that subject. In the end when Juliet had pretended to be dead to stay with Romeo forever she had lost her life for love. As did Romeo, he gave his life at the thought of loosing Juliet who he couldn’t live without because he loved her. And then when Juliet awoken and saw her husband on the floor dead she killed herself knowing she couldn’t live without him. They showed there love was a mature one.
I totally agree with what you are saying that someone older most likely will have a better relationship then a 12 year old dating someone. also that love is used why too much but a lot of times no one means it. like how you said a 12 year old in love with Justin Bieber because they are really just in love with how he looks
Delete"Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you’, Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” Once said by anonymous. To me this quote means that when you are immature and you start to date someone, this especially happens at my age couples, they think they are in love because they are a “couple” now when in actuality in about a month they wont even remember each other. But during the time they feel they are in love they feel they need that person but they’d actually be perfectly fine if one of them disappeared off the face of the earth, they’re just blinded by someone thing new and think they need it. It like when a new device comes out like the IPhone when the new one comes out everyone thinks they need it, but when they get it and have it for like 2 weeks it’s no big deal anymore. And then they wait for the next new cool thing to come out. Then for mature love, they aren’t blinded b something new. They know they can’t just replace the person they love because they bring joy to their lives even when something better or newer comes along. And they know true love is one of the most amazing thing in the world and they don’t want to replace it.
ReplyDeleteIn Romeo and Juliet they are an immature romance because they really don’t love each other is mostly attraction that brought them together. It might have been looks or even the trill of doing something you’re not suppose to. See this the difference between immature and mature love. Immature love isn’t based on the person it’s just a trill while mature love is when you know that you accepted their flaws and want to stay with them because to you they’re perfect just the way they are.
