The first part of this quote “work like you don’t need money” I think can mean that you should always work as hard as you can. Don’t give up because it’s too hard. You should always try your best even if you’re getting paid or not. You should work well and not worry about the money worth, work like you’re working for something you like. Like a phone or food something that means something to you. The next part of this quote, “Dance like nobody’s watching” I think means that you can be fearless about your job or what ever you are doing. You don’t have to worry about someone is judging you. “Dance” like nobody is there, act like yourself, don’t act fake or different , just act normal. The final part of this quote, “ Love like you’ve never been hurt.” I think means, that is you get fired at job maybe you should love your next job like you did the first just forget about it. Don’t think about the negatives, think about the positives. Be confident and believe in yourself. I think if everyone listened to this quote I think the world could change completely, people could understand what this quote really means and how much it can help. It could maybe help people with depression problems , they shouldn’t have to hurt them selves because someone doesn’t love them or care for them. If they just listened to the real meaning to the quote maybe they wouldn’t try and kill themselves because that’s heart breaking. Nobody should have to suffer. Overall I think this quote could have prevented many things if people listened. Also, personally I would have liked to see this quote maybe when I was going through a rough time, it probably would have helped a lot. Reading this quote tells me things I wouldn’t even think about . “Work like you don’t need money “ that can help me in school, even know I don’t get paid in school. It can help me do well on tests and classwork, I should just work hard and act like I’m going to get money if I do well at what I’m doing. Anyway, I think this quote is an inspirational quote.

ReplyDeleteA wise man named Stephan Leighton once said “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” I can’t even explain how much I believe that this quote is so true. I think that the part where it says “work like you don’t need the money” means that it might be easier to work like you didn’t need the money, and be able to just have fun when you are working without the stress of needing the money. It will eventually become so fun that you will want to work. I think the part that says “love like you’ve never been hurt” means to love freely and do not think about past relationships, you need to let them go. I think the part that says “dance like nobody’s watching” means that you should always be yourself and if people don’t like it, that is their problem. Don’t mind the haters, they are just jealous of your originality. I believe that the quote “Work like you don’t need the money. Love like you’ve never been hurt. Dance like nobody’s watching.” can relate to my life in many ways. One way that this quote can relate to my life is when it says “work like you don’t need the money” because I have always tried to save up my money a lot. Once I was saving it up so well that I had about $200 and I was saving it up to go to my favorite singer’s concert. When I went to the concert I spent a good amount of it on the merch. I had saved up the money for a while and I had fun doing it. The part of the quote that says “love like you’ve never been hurt” can relate to my life because even though I have never been in a relationship with a guy, I have had friends that I loved. Some of them didn’t work out well, and I’ve had bad endings of friendships. I was sad at the time but I learned to get over it and stick to friends who were really there for me. I loved like I had never been hurt. The part of the quote that says “dance like nobody’s watching” can relate to my life because I don’t always care about what other people think of me. I just do my own thing and be myself, and if people don’t like it, that is their problem.

I also think that it means that you shouldn’t care about what people are saying and talking about you or what they will or do think about you. If you do care about what they are saying you aren’t being yourself you are being some one that you are not. You should not care what people say, just do something you love to do with no thoughts about it. If everyone in the world listened to this great quote by Stephan Leighton, I think the world would be a much better place. You would not see as many misrebal people. a lot of people would be happy because they do not care what the other people are saying they are doing what they love and making them selves happy. If everyone lived by this awesome quote everyone would get along and everyone would be friends. Everyone would be friends becaue they wouldn’t care about either of each others opinions. I think this quote could have different meanings depending on the way you look at it and what kind of person you are. What I think this quote means is you should live life to its fullest. You should work hard and forget about the money. Thinking about it will just stress you out. You won't get a lot at the beginning but it will come through time. To me love is a strong word such as hate. You shouldn't say those words if you don't mean it but love everything. Things will pop up and hurt you. You could love somebody so much and boom they could leave at an instant. You never know what could happen but you should always be prepared just incase because not everything last forever. So just love what you truly desire and forget about what has hurt you. The last part of this quote could mean a lot of things. What I think it means is do what you have to do. Try your best and don't let anybody tell you you can't do something. Many people panic because they think they are not good enough so they don't reveal there talent or don't go to their full potential. It can be harder to do something when be people are looking at you and judging you so all you have to do it block them out and do your thing. I can relate this quote to myself by I just do whatever pleases me. No I don't mean by do stupid things that will get me introuble, I just do things like play soccer or go out for runs or just be me. I try to enjoy every little thing I do. It can go from me hanging out with my friends or playing soccer for two hours just so I can improve myself and the way I play the game. When I play soccer I just tone everyone out and it's just me and the ball. I don't care if people think I'm not good enough because that makes me want to train harder and improve myself. It's one thing to say you're good at something but it's completely different when you're there to prove to them that you are good at what you do. “Work like you don't need the money. I truly believe that this means to leave the past in the past and take the good times in at every chance you get. Working like you don't need the money, in my opinion means to work not for a reward, but out of your heart. Do you what you want to do because it brings you joy, not because you get paid at the end of the day. Dance like nobody's watching means to live free and let go. If you're living life under everybody else's expectations, are you even living at all? There's no way that you could ever live a life trying to please everybody else and have a fun time doing it. In fact, that's probably the most insulting and terrible thing you could ever do. Live, love, and work the way you want to. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.
ReplyDeleteIf everybody were to listen to this, the world would be a much happier place. Everybody would have their own perspective of how their life is. Maybe people would start being themselves more often. Instead of always worrying about what everybody else needs, they'd worry about what they need, personally. I really do believe that if that was the case, there wouldn't be nearly as many problems as there is today. Schools would be better, families would be better, jobs, towns, cities would be better if everybody learned that not everybody has to live the same way. I know for a fact that if people would just realize that money is just a piece of paper, opinions will go away in a matter of time, and you have to fall hard to learn who could mend your heart; the world would be a billion times better.
If you want to fall in love, if you want to work hard and reach your goals, if you want to have fun; let everybody else's opinions go to waste. This quote could mean many different possible things to many different people. To me, this quote means that you should always be comfortable with who and what you are and be respectful for what you have. When he says “work like you don’t need the money,” I think he means that you should always work as hard as you can, no matter what. You should never give up on something, even if it maybe too hard. Just because something is hard, does not mean it is impossible. Then, when he says “love like you’ve never been hurt,” I think means that you should always love what you are. Also, you should not let one heartbreak affect you for the rest of your life because it is not the end of the world. There will be many people that you “love” before you actually find the one that you really do love and want to spend the rest of your life with. Last, when he says “dance like nobody’s watching,” I think that he means that you should never be embarrassed to show who you really are. You should never be ashamed to be yourself. And, you should never care with what people think about you. This quote has many different meanings to it. Also, people would not really judge other people. everyone would be equal so there would be no room for anyone to judge. Last, it could also help people with depression because loving would be the same for everyone, and no one will care about what other people say about them.

All I think about while reading Stephan Leighton’s quote “Work like you don’t need the money. Love like you’ve never been hurt. Dance like nobody’s watching,” is the saying ‘live like there’s no tomorrow.’ You want to work like you don’t need the money, like you’re just doing it for fun. Just enjoy your job, pretend you’re not forcing yourself to do it, and do it for you. You want to love like you’ve never been hurt so you don’t hesitate, you don’t want to stop yourself from having fun and being happy even if it lasts not that long, you want to act like you’ve never been in love so you can fall in love the first time over and over again and enjoy it every time, there’s no point in dwelling in the past and obsessing over bad things that happened to you long ago. You want to dance like nobody is watching because its fun, you shouldn’t have to worry about being embarrassed, if you’re having fun that’s all that matters. If your life is full of worrying, your life will NEVER be fun. Do things for you instead of for others pretty much. I feel like if everyone listened to this, everyone would only worry about their own happiness and they wouldn’t destroy themselves worrying about others, and I think everyone would be way happier. I think people would be way nicer too because they wouldn’t have time to judge you considering they’re too worried about themselves. No one would be shy and people wouldn’t take anything for granted. I think everyone would like their job a lot more too. Personally, these are words that I wish I could live by. Many people stress out because they think they are not good enough, so they ever get to discover what they are truly good at. Dance like nobody's watching.” The quote is so valuable to me that it's like a part of my life. This quote means that you have to do what you can do and more. Also the quote means that you work hard to your fullest potential and beyond that and becoming the best hard working person out there. To me personally I think this quote means to work hard and never give up and always try my best. It also means to not be stopped by obstacles in life and keep moving forward.

This quote basically is intertwined in my life and that is because when I am in dance this quote comes into affect by I do the things I love like no one cares. That's what you have to do with many other things you have to do but you have to do them like you don't care what anyone else thinks. The quote has its affect on me and others like last year I was called a slut for dressing how I did in the talent show I didn't care all I cared about was the fact that I did an almost perfect improved routine. I had done that routine in my head on that stage as I was dancing cause I let the music get in my head instead of the talk and I let the music move me. The thing you have to do is not to listen to all the talk and you have to just do what you love and what you are good at because not everyone is perfect. All those people who say that stuff can't go and do half the things you did. Right after i got home from school after being called that my mother told me that no one would have the courage to do what you got up on that stage and did. When she said this I wanted to cry because she thought I did the greatest job but my self I thought I did horribly and I knew the people weren't right when they called me a slut because they wore less than me daily but I didn't let their words bring me down because I was better then them.
