I this quote "work like you don't need the money. Love like you never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching. " Stephan Leighton. Means that you have to live your life even though things get hard time wont stop for you so you have to live your life to the fullest and dont let any one or anything get in your way. life has so many meanings and perpases that you cant count them this means that do something because you want to not because someone wants you to life is like a fraggle little baby if you dont treat it right in the future it will torture you and make you misserable. the choices you make can affect your attitude and your way of looking at the world. people will judge you but that will happen in life alot but you have to be the pockadot in between the stripes thats just me i love to be diffrent it makes me feel like the one and only. you have to be true to who you are because it will make your life worth wild and enjoyable. when i get to be my self i have a great time and it makes me feel great. when im myself i like to make otheres feel better about them selves because it makes me feel good and i dont like it when my friends are upset it makes me upset so i make it my job to make them feel better because i like to see people smile. my friends and family are the most important thing in my life. i dont care what anyone thinks thats why im happy in life and with who i am.

The first part work like you dont need money, this part in todays world could put you at disadvantage because if you work like you dont need the money then all tehse lazy people wont do anything because they dont need the money and that many people wouldnt understand that part of the quote as its meant to be understood, in other words it means that even if you have all the money in the world you should still work hard because you can always do better than what your doing now. The second part, love like youve bever been hurt means that even if youve been hurt from past expeirences you shouldnt let thats stop you from opening yourself up to other people because of what someone else had once done to you because chances are this new person is better and that old person was just a lesson that you learned and you need to be careful but never close yourself away to everyone. Finally, the third part of the quote, Dance like nobodys watching, this means that you should perform or try and act better or not like yourself when your around people to impress them, you should act yourself and surround yourself with people that love you for you instead of give them the impression of this fake person you impersonating and have them find the truth later and if they dont like the real you then you shouldnt care and move on because there not worth your time.
I agree with your statement one hundred percent. The beginning part of the quote doesn't really make sense. Working like you don't need the money would just mean that you would work like you don't care, in my opinion. It doesn't really make any sense to me. DeleteI Agree with what you are saying. People do need to work for what they want. And that we should close ourselves out to others cause of one person we should just learn from it and move on. And that we shouldn't try to impress other but just worry about our own feeling.

Dance like nobody's watching.” This quote can mean many different things to many different people. What I think this quote means is do your best at everything you do. You never know who will be watching. When you’re playing that game of basketball with your friends in a public area, trying to impress the people around you. Make sure to use your full potential. You never know, there could be an agent wanting to work for you and wanting to make you something big like the next Michael Jordan.Same thing goes for all of the sports and activities that you enjoy and hope to achieve big in them. Just do you the best you think you can do and hopefully it will pay out in the future. You could become something huge one day. Just hope that someone that can make that come true is watching you and thinks that you have what it takes. What this quote means to me personally is to try the best you can and someday it will pay off. It could lead to your drafting of your dream basketball team or the college you always wanted to go to or anything. Just as long as you put your full potential into it.
ReplyDeleteIf everyone listened to this, then everyone’s dreams would come true. Everyone will become the thing they always wanted to be. They could become the best lawyer if that was what they wanted to be. They could become the best golf player if that is what they wanted to be. They could even be the best scientist if that was what they wanted to be. Anyone can be what they want to be. If people just listened, they could accomplish it. The world would be such a peaceful place if people just understood what Stephan Leighton was saying. You can be what you want to be. You just have to work hard towards it and you can achieve it. Everyone in the world would be equal. Everyone would be what they always wanted to be. No one would be complaining that they couldn’t achieve their goals. That just came through and they gave it all they could and, hopefully, they accomplished their goals. That is what I think Stephan Leighton meant by his quote.
I agree with your statement. This when you explain that to do your best and live up to your full potential. That is one of the best things to do. To live a little and be who you want as long as you set your mind to whatever that is.

What I think he means is that be carefree. don't care what other people say or do. Be you cause that is the best thing to be. Loosen up and run free cause you only live once so make the best of things while you have it. We wont be here for long and when we do go you'll regret that you didn't live enough. Trust me it gets harder as you get older so live while your young and you'll be alright. In other words do what you want to do and don't let people get in your way with words. Be a dreamer and live. The better you start when your young the better mix in life you will have. Do something extraordinary and don't listen to people cause they are crazy be you. To me this means go out of all the orders and be yourself. Do what you do best and shut the world out with its words cause everything you do is beautiful and can change minds of others too.

Everyone has their own interpretation of things and if they let their personality the world will grow into so much more and that's all it needs. If people just listened and understood the principles of everything they could make it out to be whatever they want like a job or a special talent they wanna do. They just pay attention to what people say to much. But if they shut the voices out they would be so much better off. Also the world would be much better with all the amazing and bright people that live everyday. If they let their smile shine anything can happen as long as they set their mind to what they want. That is what i think he meant when he wrote this quote.

But to me it means you do you. So like a lot of people do jobs they don’t like for money but we shouldn’t do that and we should get we enjoy. A lot of people think money is the most important thing but its not its just paper and we should not set are life based on it. Yes I know that we need money to buy food and other thing but we shouldn’t let money rule are life. And don’t let passed experiences stop you from live and loving to your best ability. Like people think that lets say someone cheats on you that every person they date after that is going to cheat on them. Also that people should not worry about what other people think and just do you and if that means dancing like an idiot, do it. We need to worry about ourselves and not the thoughts of mean people.
ReplyDeleteIf the whole entire world followed this quote I think that is could be good but also bad. So a lot of times we try to improve our self by competing with someone and most of are advancements come from doing that. So I feel we would fall behind in the technology because we don’t have that be of a motive to improve. Also most people want to make money so they try to do something that will give them money. But I think its good if we don’t let being hurt stop us from doing something we love. Like just because you break your leg playing baseball doesn’t mean that when it heals you should just give up on it cause you are scared it is going to happen again. Or if you date someone terrible and they are just a horrible human being, doesn’t mean you’ll never fined someone who treats you right and is just generally a good person. Finally it would be great if everyone in the world just didn’t care about what other people think. I know sometimes its hard to just ignore someone when they are saying or doing mean things, but when you realize that the only opinion that matters to you is your own t=everything just feels a little better.

I think his remarkable quote means to always work hard. Who cares if you are or aren't getting paid. Who cares if your just working at a McDonalds or as a garbage man. The point is that you are helping someone in need of help. Even if its a costumer, a patient, a family, or a whole country. Even if you're just volunteering. Someone somewhere out there appreciates you. I think it also means don't live in the past, or don't stop trying. Like riding a bike, you get on and your mom gives you a push then, you fall down. You get back up, mom puts you back up on the bike and you try again. Same situation, but with love its harder to get right back up. You just got to try because you will never find it if you lock yourself up and throw the key away. Another example is surfing. You paddle out into the ocean, sit on your board for what seems like centuries. Then this big scary wave comes. At first you hesitate, then swallow your fear and paddle as fast as you can. You feel yourself lifting towards the tip then out of instinct you pop up on top of your board. You landed it for the first time ever! Then adrenaline kicks in... Oh no you lose focus. Splash! Into the water you go. You get pulled under and into the wave now you can't get out! You struggle to get up for air but can't quite get there. Next thing you know the wave crashes and you come tumbling out with tons of scratches. GASP! Air. You almost just drown. So you pick up your board head toward your chair, eat some lunch, take a deep breath... And back out ya go. A third meaning to this quote is that why should you care what people think. If you do, all you're going to be is a big ball of anxiety. If you think about it people don't really care as much as you might think they do. They are worried about their own business. So you should dance how ever you want to.

The first part of this quote “work like you don’t need money” I think can mean that you should always work as hard as you can. Don’t give up because it’s too hard. You should always try your best even if you’re getting paid or not. You should work well and not worry about the money worth, work like you’re working for something you like. Like a phone or food something that means something to you. The next part of this quote, “Dance like nobody’s watching” I think means that you can be fearless about your job or what ever you are doing. You don’t have to worry about someone is judging you. “Dance” like nobody is there, act like yourself, don’t act fake or different , just act normal. The final part of this quote, “ Love like you’ve never been hurt.” I think means, that is you get fired at job maybe you should love your next job like you did the first just forget about it. Don’t think about the negatives, think about the positives. Be confident and believe in yourself. I think if everyone listened to this quote I think the world could change completely, people could understand what this quote really means and how much it can help. It could maybe help people with depression problems , they shouldn’t have to hurt them selves because someone doesn’t love them or care for them. If they just listened to the real meaning to the quote maybe they wouldn’t try and kill themselves because that’s heart breaking. Nobody should have to suffer. Overall I think this quote could have prevented many things if people listened. Also, personally I would have liked to see this quote maybe when I was going through a rough time, it probably would have helped a lot. Reading this quote tells me things I wouldn’t even think about . “Work like you don’t need money “ that can help me in school, even know I don’t get paid in school. It can help me do well on tests and classwork, I should just work hard and act like I’m going to get money if I do well at what I’m doing. Anyway, I think this quote is an inspirational quote.

To me this quote means a lot. This quote means to be yourself. No matter what anyone says be yourself and never stop working at what you love. Another quote that goes well with this is "If you love what you do then your not working. You always have to be grateful. A lot of people in our society aren't grateful at all. Sometimes people forget what they have and how lucky they are. Also this quote means that you should always be yourself. A time I can relate to this is when I needed money. I did yard work and hard labor and I got money. I did not complain I just did it because I knew what I was getting out of it.
