  1. I think that this quote meant that you should do things you want to do and not what people want you to do and things that you do not want to do. Personally I think that this quote is a true fact about life. I had and still have points in life that I do things that i want to do but other people don’t want me to do. For a good example, my brother did not want me to do something that I wanted to do really badly. But I did it anyways and i think that point in life I realized that you should do things you want to do. But do not get me wrong when I tell you that friends and family are sometimes right when they tell you that you shouldn’t do things. For an example, my mom told me I should not go somewhere. I can’t remember where but I think it was a concert. so I followed my mom's advise and turns out that the show turned out to be a really violent show and my brother's friend almost got knocked and he is bigger then me. In my point of view everyone should take this quote into account. If you never try something because someone tells you not to do it or your friends find it silly you will never know you will hate it or like it. So I think if the whole world was like this it would be very interesting. A lot of people would act different and dress different and laws would be different. For a example, there a people in this world that just deny them selves of liking something or not liking something mostly towards books, movies, video games, and music. But if there was no denying it everyone would most likely be happy. If I had a penny of how many times I tried fitting in with a crowd I would have 50000000 dollars. And even before the time my brother told me not to do something but I did it anyways he told me something that I will never forget. He said, “Don’t just do something because they want you to do it. Don’t get walked on by people. Cause if you do those two things you will be screwed over big timed and be used.” And know what I don’t think it goes to well with this quote but I think that they kind a go together. So that’s what I think this quote means.

    1. I totally agree with Micheals blog because I also think you need to do what makes you happy. not what makes other people happy. you should not have to try and fit in. if you don't fit in it is just the wrong group of people for.

  2. Stephan Leighton once said“Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” What i think this quote means is that you should do what you want to do in life. You do the things you do because you enjoy doing it. For example, if you love doing your job, then money isn't important because you are happy with what you do in life. If everyone followed this quote, I think the world would be a lot different if everyone followed this quote. For example, I think that many people would try and live their own lives and stop caring about what other people think. What I personally think this quote means is that some people might fall in love and get their hearts broken and never fall in love again, but others that were hurt won’t stop finding love because it’s how they wanna live. Also, some people are afraid to dance because they think people will judge them, but when you pretend no one is watching you, you will have a lot of fun. This quote can mean many different things depending on how you wanna live your life. If you live your life thinking everyone is judging you, your life won’t be that fun. On the other hand though, if you live your life like there is no tomorrow and you don’t give a crap what others think, your life will be fun and how you wanna live it. This is what I think the quote by Stephen Leighton said means.

    1. I agree with your statement Alexis. I think the quote does mean you should do what you want to do in life. And in my opinion this quote is very important to people who are just trying to fit in with the most popular crew. So that is why i agree with you and your statement.

  3. “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” –Stephan Leighton. I think this quote means that you should do things that make you happy. Not do things just because other people do or because that is ‘’normal.’’ If you work you should only do it because you like to not because you need the money. You should love people like you have never been hurt because there is no point in being hurt over something that now does not matter to you. You should dance like nobody is watching because you always have to be yourself even if people are judging you what they think shouldn’t matter. If you care enough about yourself, what other people think should not matter. Personally this quote means that you should not care what other people think and you should only do things because you love to do it. If the whole world listened to “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” –Stephan Leighton the whole world would be happy. If nobody judged anyone else we would all be happy. There would be no depression and people would feel like they are meant to be here because they do what they love and that is what they were made to do. If I lived by this quote I would love my life. This world would not be racist, sexist, homophobic, or judge mental. Except people are butt faces and they put other people down to make themselves feel better. So really the one with the problem is them because they are not confident about themselves so they hurt good people. The only one who can tell you what to do is yourself. The most risky thing you can do is play it safe. So just do whatever you want and who cares what people say because when you are an old person who cannot do things you are going to wish you did them. Everything risky you do could have a sort term consequence, so do it. Everything risky you did not do could have long term regret. “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” –Stephan Leighton. Don’t worry about what you do because what other people will think worry about what you do because of how it will make you feel. Consequences will always end. Regret will never end. You need to do what makes you happy not what makes other people happy.

    1. I can agree with Molly's opinion on this week's quote. We should do the things in life that make us happy and have the right to do them instead of someone telling you you can't do this or that. You shouldn't care about what other people think about your personal life and make your own descisions of what you want to do instead of them telling you what you can and can't do. One thing that most people do in this world now is judge and if we lived in a world where people would not judge each other we would live in a peaceful world. Do not worry about aboout how other poeple feel about it do what makes you feel about it.

    2. I definitely agree with molly cause she was 110% right about everything she said. I agreed with her because she is like saying don't let people hold you back from what you want to do. she also says don't blend in with the others. that's why I agree with her.

  4. What the quote, “Work like you don’t need money. Love like you’ve never been hurt. Dance like nobody’s watching”, means is that you should live everyday like it is your last and don’t let someone tell you what you can’t do. This means that you must live life to the fullest because you only get one life and you must use it wise because you could get hit by a truck tomorrow and you say to yourself that you should have worked harder to reach the things you had hoped to accomplish before it came to this point in time. The part in the quote where it mentions, “Dance like nobody’s watching” if you always wanted to you should because your life could flash before your eyes at any point in time. One example could be that, you might want to go to Florida and go to Disney World for the week during spring break. Some people say that they want to write a book or run for president, they say that but they never actually put it into action and start reaching towards their achievements. That’s what some people do as they get older, they say things in their head that they want to do, but they don’t start accomplishing it and it is just a thought at the back of their heads for things they might do but not sure if it is going to happen. I can relate to this quote from the third marking period when I was trying to get a High Honor Roll. Throughout elementary school, I have only got honor roll and good citizenship throughout the entire time I was in Pre-k through 6th grade. I have been trying to reach high honor roll for quite a long time but I have only got honor roll and good citizenship. My personal thought was that I would not be even close to reaching high honor roll because it is one thing I have never got. In middle school, my grades weren’t as good as they were in elementary school and I was hoping they would be better but there was not enough good grades to reach it. In High school it was different, I pushed myself to get extremely good grades which was able to make me reach honor roll. The Third marking period I put my mind to school entirely to make sure that before I graduate that I would try to reach high honor roll no matter how hard it may be. Surprisingly, I reached High Honor Roll and my long life goal is finally accomplished but that doesn’t mean that I can’t get it again. The moral of this quote is that do the things you have been wanting to do or accomplish, you only get one life

    1. I agree with your blog Keon. We should live everyday to the fullest and don't let anyone tell you what you can't do. You never know what will happen tomorrow and because of that, you should always do what you want to do in life because someday you wont be able to.

  5. "Work like you don't need money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching." -Stephan Leigton. What I think this quote means is do what you want to do with out worry. Dancing singing acting are all good example of what I mean. Like to do anything you want without thinking "oh he's watching" or "oh she's watching". That's what I think it means. Personally this quote means. Just do you. You do what you love with worrying who's talking about you or watching you. Your doing the specific thing for a reason. And that reason is because you love doing it. That's what it means to me personally. Also to never over think things that you don't get the chance to do what you love. That's what it means to me personally. I think if everyone listens to this it could be a good thing but also a bad thing. A good thing because people wouldn't care if what they do as long as they are doing it they will feel good about themselves. But this quote can also leading to negative actions. I say this because there's people out there who finds doing bad things okay. For example bullying. This quote can relate to it because if that person feels like its okay that person is going to bully everyone and not care. That's how it can go both ways. And it's not only bullying because it could also be drugs or alcohol.

    2. I agree with Ish. I agree with his blog because you should always act and "do you" as Ish states. Being someone else can only get you so far but being you can get you anywhere. Remember, there's only 1 you in the world

  6. The quote “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” was said by Stephen Leighton. This quote means that whenever you are doing something to find something at the end, you shouldn't think about what you're getting at the end. You should try your best at everything even if there isnt a end result. And if there is a result then you should try as hard as you can even as big the result may be. Personally to me this quote means that you should always do something the best way you can no matter what. For example, in the quote he says “Work like you don't need the money.” You try your hardest at work to get your paycheck because you want money to go shopping, go out to eat, or buy cool things. But if you weren't getting paid would you still try as hard as you are when knowing your getting money. You should be. You should always work as hard as you can .
If everyone would follow this quote everyone would always be happy. Everyone would show they care about things and feel happy to do them. Everyone would be passionate. I think it would change the world if everyone followed this quote. I think this because a lot of people these days don't give there all at things. And it probably makes them feel boring and annoyed inside but if they followed this quote they would probably feel more happy all the time. And everyone happy would help so many problems in the world. Alot of peoples problems everyday is that they aren't happy but with everyone happy it would make everyone else happy, which would lead to a happy place and happy lives. In conclusion, Stephan Leighton once said the quote “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” And that this quote could make the world a better place is people started following it.

    1. I agree with Carly's blog because she basically states that try something even though there might not be what you wanted at the end. Also she states that you should do your best no matter what. To me I personally agree with her because you never know what will happen in the future. That's why you have to try at everything and live life to the fullest.

This quote means that don't just do you job work hard for what you earn, don't just get by with satisfactory. Love like there's no tomorrow and don't let the people that have hurt you in the past effect your future. That love could be special and meant to be but if you let past experiences get in the way you could miss out on something great. Have fun while your dancing. Dance like the only thing important is you and no one else is there to judge you, because you should have fun just letting go and be yourself, being free. To me this all means that you either do your best, don't let the past get to you, and be yourself, o live life getting by with satisfactory, not finding the one, and not being yourself. You are hiding everything that should be shown not hidden. to just work is showing you don't really care, but to work hard like you need the money shows you care and will impress the people around you including who's in charge of you.Can you imagine a world where everyone followed this? Society might not be where it is today and same for the economy. To keep loving no matter how many times we get hurt would bring serenity and peace.I feel like there wouldn't be as much hate in the world. Everything would be different. If everyone worked like they needed the money people wouldn't be sitting at home on there couch being lazy, or at work slacking off. Things would actually get done maybe properly and at the right time. The world would be a better place in general. There might not be as many battles. Think of all the hatred, if we can get people to get past the hurt and love again everyone would be excepted more. A place with out hate, working like there's no tomorrow, and being yourself is excepted. Being yourself without feeling judged or having people look at you like you came out of an asylum. Working like there's no tomorrow improves our brain too. It teaches our brain discipline. To work hard and keep giving ideas without slowing down and giving you nothing instead.

Work like you don't need the money, If you're at work and you work your “ass” of and what do you get a pat on the back . Yes again if you dont do it for money then why are you even doing it.Love like you've never been hurt, Um how could you love without pain . If you ever been in love then you know theres is gonna be pain no matter what it always get rough. Dance like no one is watching , when you dance like a dork it just looks weird and thats probably how you find your love. If you do everything but you do it to not achieve a goal . Whats your goal in life whats the ending outcome how does it even work.

  12. “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” –Stephan Leighton. This quote to can be said and sing different way.The following words are attributed to a variety of people including mark twain, satchel Paige and William purkey:sing like no one is listening.Love like you've never been hurt.dance like nobody's watching, and live like it's heaven on earth. The ordering of the lines varies, and sometimes other statements are inserted. The quote is seems like song too. The is quote believes that sets of expressions containing the statement "dance like nobody's watching" were derived from these lyrics. According to research in 1994 an article in "orange coast magazine" profiled Danielle Kennedy who was a real estate agent and motivational speaker. The line "work like you don't need the money" this line to me means that to work because you are passionate and love what you are doing such as lawyers with whom they have worked who have found their passion.Another way I think it means that fearless, you're not worried about losing your job, so you work with courage and conviction. Passionate, you're working because you like it so you're likely to have fire and enthusiasm. Confident, your value is tied to knowledge and hard work.
Positive, you find reasons to like and enjoy work and it's obviously by the smile on your face, and when money is not a big necessity in our lives, we can turn out jobs into out pleasures, our hobbies and not our source of money then we won't be too stressed out with this competitive life after all.Thoses are the high standards. Dance like no one's watching- I suppose people dance to take away their emotions, let those emotions swirl around you, flow within you and let it go together with the wind.when no ones watching everyone is this world. Dance boldly and let everything go.If assume today is the last day- laugh while you can, live while you can, love while you can, so seize the day.Live our lives like there is no tomorrow.we won't know what's gonna happen in the future.

  13. Work like you don’t need the money. Love like you’ve never been hurt. Dance like nobodys watching.” This was said by Stephan Leighton. To me this quote means that you should work and do something you love. Also I think this means that you should do what you want and do not care about what other people are saying to you or other people. if you care what people are saying you wont “dance” like you want to you will always be acting as if you are something you are not and you will not being yourself. Personally this quote means to me that you should do something you like as a job as if you don’t need the money. I also think that it means that you shouldn’t care about what people are saying and talking about you or what they will or do think about you. If you do care about what they are saying you aren’t being yourself you are being some one that you are not. You should not care what people say, just do something you love to do with no thoughts about it. If everyone in the world listened to this great quote by Stephan Leighton, I think the world would be a much better place. You would not see as many misrebal people. a lot of people would be happy because they do not care what the other people are saying they are doing what they love and making them selves happy. If everyone lived by this awesome quote everyone would get along and everyone would be friends. Everyone would be friends becaue they wouldn’t care about either of each others opinions. Living by this quote would make the world a much better place in so many ways. Every one would be happy because they are working but they wouldn’t think of it as working be cause it is something they love to do and they would just do what they want to with out worrying about other human beings opinion. Over-all I think this was a great quote and everyone should live by it. They are great words to live by and every one would be much happier if the world was how this quote said every one should be.This is what i think this quote means

  14. I think the quote “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” by Stephan Leighton means to live life to the fullest and do not care about what other people think. I think it also means to not stress and worry about the future or other worries. It also means to just go crazy and do what you want and not worry about a thing in the world. An example of this quote being is used is usually at places like parties bars.. you should do things that aren't bad and things that cost a lot of money. Another good example of the quote being used is to not stress out about your bills and what comes next it is taking one step of a time kind of thing. Another example of this quote is that if your a worker and have a family and all you do is work your not going to have any time for your family and your just going to over work your self so make time for yourself and do not worry so much. Another example is lets say you where in a bad relation ship it also means to try to get over it like it never happened and move on and try to have fun and live your life. A final example is you are having financial issues and all you do is worry about them and not fix them your just going to end up putting yourself more in a whole then you already are in. I can relate this quote to my life because I used to be a nervous wreck and sometimes still am. This is what I think this quote means.

  15. Stephan Leighton once said “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody’s watching.” To answer this, I will split this into 3 sections, the money, the love, and the dancing. What Stephan Leighton means when he says “work like you don’t need the money”, he means work hard. Also, he means to have a good work ethic to where you won’t just work for the money. You’ll work so you can know the value of a dollar. Most kids just ask their parents for money so they don’t know how it feels to actually work and save up the money to buy what you want. You should always work like you don’t need the money so you can always know that you put a days in of work. The next part I’ll be talking about is love. What I think that Stephan Leighton means when he says “love like you’ve never been hurt” is to love like you’ve never been hurt. This part of the quote is pretty self explanatory. What it means is if you’ve ever been hurt before in a relationship and you’ve moved on, go after somebody like you’ve never been hurt in the first place. You should be into somebody with the same love and intensity that you hade for the person that hurt you in the first place. But you should forget about being hurt. You should leave that part of your life behind you and not let the pain of that breakup surface around you, Instead, you should just learn from that past relationship and plan ahead to not make the same mistakes in your next one. But you shouldn’t let the pain from your last relationship hurt you now. What I think Stephan Leighton means when he says “dance like nobody’s watching” is to dance like you don’t have an audience. Dancing in this scenario can mean anything. It can mean “play like nobody’s watching, “sing like nobody’s watching” It’s just saying to be you no matter who is around you. To be you and be original no matter who’s watching. Because that originality and individuality can go way farther with you being yourself rather than changing when you have an audience or a crowd.

  16. A wise man, named Stephan Leighton, once said, “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” This quote can mean many different things to many different people. What I think this quote means is do your best at everything you do. You never know who will be watching. When you’re playing that game of basketball with your friends in a public area, trying to impress the people around you. Make sure to use your full potential. You never know, there could be an agent wanting to work for you and wanting to make you something big like the next Michael Jordan.Same thing goes for all of the sports and activities that you enjoy and hope to achieve big in them. Just do you the best you think you can do and hopefully it will pay out in the future. You could become something huge one day. Just hope that someone that can make that come true is watching you and thinks that you have what it takes. What this quote means to me personally is to try the best you can and someday it will pay off. It could lead to your drafting of your dream basketball team or the college you always wanted to go to or anything. Just as long as you put your full potential into it.
If everyone listened to this, then everyone’s dreams would come true. Everyone will become the thing they always wanted to be. They could become the best lawyer if that was what they wanted to be. They could become the best golf player if that is what they wanted to be. They could even be the best scientist if that was what they wanted to be. Anyone can be what they want to be. If people just listened, they could accomplish it. The world would be such a peaceful place if people just understood what Stephan Leighton was saying. You can be what you want to be. You just have to work hard towards it and you can achieve it. Everyone in the world would be equal. Everyone would be what they always wanted to be. No one would be complaining that they couldn’t achieve their goals. That just came through and they gave it all they could and, hopefully, they accomplished their goals. That is what I think Stephan Leighton meant by his quote.

Love like you've never been hurt. dance like nobody is watching." even though I try to dance I can still relate to the quote.

  18. “Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt.
