  1. "We accept the love we think we deserve". This is a very interesting quote and can be taken in many different ways. I personally think that this quote means that us as human beings accept love, even though we do not deserve it at times. What I mean is that, praise, love and glory are given even though it is not deserved at times. Take this scenario for example, superman and batman need to save Lois Lane from Lex Luthor. Batman is the brains behind the operation, researching Mr. Luther's history, battle tactics and weapons in battle, knowing how to defeat him. Superman is the one who takes the initiative and does all the work. After defeating Lex Luthor, Batman is praised as a hero and savior of Metropolis. Superman is ignored and called a false god, even though he was the one who defeated Lex Luthor and saved Lois Lane. Batman paid no mind to the glory but he still did not deserve it, Superman is the true hero in this scenario. It's a matter of doing the right thing and taking credit for things that YOU did. It's wrong to do so but sometimes we as human being get caught up in all the commotion and praise that we forget that we don't deserve the love being displayed and take it anyway. It's a lot like sitting on a bench while another person saves a cat from a tree and you end up being the center of attention instead of the other person who truly deserves the attention, unlike yourself. Another example of a scenario is when Thomas Edison took credit for the invention of the light bulb. Thomas Edison did not create the light bulb, it was actually his former worker and business partner Nikola Tesla. Edison stole the credit from Tesla's hands like a lion who overthrows the king of the pride. It is Tesla who should be credited for this invention not Edison. Tesla even said that he would make power free, if only the world knew it. This quote really displays an act of native human behavior, I have seen various amounts of peculiar scenarios where something just seems a little bit off. Sure, we're human and can't help our nature but I think that one day, the world will realize the error of it's ways and build an even brighter future for itself.

  2. "We accept the love we think we deserve," is a very complex quote in my opinion. I say this because I don’t really understand what the quote means and I think that there are a lot of ways to interpret it. This is propyl wrong but I think this quote means that we can be very demanding in not just random stuff but also in the attitude they treat someone. It is really hard to explain but I think sometimes we get so spoiled that we forget that we aren’t above any one and we should treat every one with respect and kindness. A good quote to relate to this one would be “treat people the way you want to be treated.” I say this because it’s something I think we should all do more because I see people miss treated all the time at my school and in my daily life. Another example would be mistreatment of Africans during the berlin conference. I say this because they brainwashed the unknowing Africans into think it was alright for them to be mistreated and put into slavery. That is how I interpreted this quote.
"We accept the love we think we deserve," can also relate to my own personal life. For example I experience kids being bullied helplessly from other peers in their school. However this happens rapidly to the point were they think it is okay for them to get picked on which is very sad and make me very mad to see. Another example would be all the riots happening around the world. Well not the riots its selves just every African American having the mindset of scariness towards the cops and vise versa. That is how I can relate to the quote "We accept the love we think we deserve."

  3. The quote "We accept the love we think we deserve." was said by Stephen Chbosky. This quote has a lot of meaning and value. This quote has meaning to me as well this quote means that we always take the things we believe we have deserved instead of what we really deserved. This quote is explaining some people's lives that I see everyday and it does happen in real life. The quote had made a difference in the real world this quote means more than you and I would think and hope. The quote has so much power and inspirational meaning that the universe is effected by it. This quote has effected many others that you know also. This quote has effected many others that you know also. This quote has effected our lives as well but we probably didn't even know it. This quote has effected all of us so much that if you hadn't been affected you hadn't lived your life. This quote is extremely inspirational.
This quote affects my life by I have once accepted something that I didn't deserve. When I was younger I wanted many different things I didn't need but of course I wanted them. There was many things such as different food, candy, cookies and what not it was crazy the amount of things I wanted but I didn't need. This quote effectively effects my life without me knowing that it is happening. The quote has effected my life so quickly that I couldn't have seen it happen. This quote is about wanting and not needing. All I know is that I am not alone in this many others like me have had this in their past or in their future. This quote has effected my life in other ways such as I was selling cupcakes one day and I knew that many people wait for me to drop the price but once I got to six cupcakes left I had someone come up to me and ask can I get all six with five dollars and I looked at them like really this isn't just for my own benefit this is for a good cause like saving peoples lives. When the person finally paid the right amount the two boys from later in the day came over and took three cupcakes cause the person didn't want them I knew that the boys didn't deserve the cupcakes because the one time I was selling with my friend the guys came up to us and they asked for a cupcake but they said they would pay with a kiss and I looked at them like are you kidding me right now. These boys got something they didn't deserve they were rude and immature to my friend and I and they got what they wanted.

  5. "We accept the love we think we deserve". This is a very interesting quote and can be taken in many different ways. I personally think that this quote means that us as human beings accept love, even though we do not deserve it at times. for example in the movie Freddy vs. Jason everyone seen Jason as the good guy and Freddy Krueger as the bad guy. even though Jason in the movies still killed people. so did Freddy. Freddy was the one killing the main characters in the movie and Jason tried killing Freddy. it was sort of a game of cops and robbers but both physco. once Jason killed Freddy everyone thought Jason was the hero because he killed Freddy. the only reason why they thought Jason was a hero was because he killed Freddy and Freddy was killing every innocent person. this quote can relate to my life because football season just ended for me and I was the backup quarterback and the coach put me in and he called a play and I ran it when I was running I made a kid fall because I juked him really bad and then I walked to the sideline and everybody was happy and giving me high fives and I said to myself I guess I deserve the handshakes.

  6. “We accept the love we think we deserve” To me this means that everyone is loved by someone. But they think they have a hard life and don’t get wheat they think they deserve. For example in school all the kids who get everything they want still think they have a hard life when they really don’t. Also they are spoiled they don’t have any big problems in they’re life. Next during the holocaust the Jews did not get what they deserved. They did nothing wrong to deserved what happened to they. They were mass killed for no reason. And this was because the Germans just did not like them. They deserved a normal like. Not to be forced to work then killed it they were too old or to young. I can relate to this quote because yes I don’t have the best life but I don’t need anymore then I have now. I do think I deserve some things for all the stuff I do around my house but I know my family cant do that. But the main reason this quote is for was the Jews in the holocaust.

  7. “we accept the love we think we deserve” was once said by a wise man named Stephen Chbosky. To me this quote means that we accept what we wish we are worth. To some people who don’t see themselves as good enough they allow themselves to think that they deserve nothing better than an abusive love life. Those who think they are the best of the best allow themselves to think that nobody will be able to meet their high standers . which would not allow them to find love themselves, because they think that they are too good and should be treated like royalty an nothing less of that. Thinking like that will not get them very far in life and in love.
This quote also shows how we perceive ourselves and how much we think we matter or belong to something. It shows us that we need to be real with ourselves and love us for us and not change for anyone or anything. We should be accepting of ourselves and not put ourselves down we should be pushing ourselves to become greater and better than we are now. If you see yopur sel as worthless or not enough then you should work toward making yourself become better. You should never feel as less than because that is what you think you are.

  8. We accept the love we think we deserve. What I think this quote means to me is if somebody wants to be love with affection or money that’s the way that they want to be loved. If some wants to be treated like crap that’s the way they want to love. Everyone has their different way to be love. Not everyone is loved the same everyone is different. What this quote means to personally is that people show their affection towards other people in many different ways. It matters on what that person feels or likes. For instance if a girl or boy loves to be drown in money, and all fancy stuff, that person is going to accept the love that its mate gives off to him/her. Or if someone likes to have something normal like they see each other and spend time with them. Their going to accept the love that they think they deserve. To me I just think it depends on what the person loves or likes.

  9. The quote," we accept the we think we deserve," is a that is completely true. The only love we have is the love that we want to have. Many people can say they love you but if you don't think you deserve then you won't get it. I think that you should always accept love weather you think you deserve it or not. The reason why I think this is because there are many people out there they don't get the same love that all of us get. I know that I would be happy if someone told me that they loved me. It would make me feel good inside even though I don't think I deserve it, it makes some ones day. Sometimes just being nice to someone can make there day better than it was. Whenever someone is nice to me it always makes my day better. It doesn't take much out of some ones day to hold the door or helping someone bring their food in the house. Even if you don't get loved you should still give someone love because it will turn out to pay off one day. Therefor, I think the quote," we accept the love we think we deserve," is a very inspiring quote that a lot of people need to follow.
