ReplyDeleteWhat this means to me is that if you fail keep trying but trying harder and have a smarter outcome. This is only making you better in what you want to accomplish. So failing is a good thing if you want to become better. This quote means a lot because it forces you to do better if you commit. If you don’t commit to it then why do it. You should do something that you know that you are going to fail because that’s how you can learn from it. That’s how you become better. This is what this quote means. It means to do something that you know that you are going to fail that’s how you can learn from the mistakes that you made. “Fail is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more INTELLIGENTLY” This quote pertains to what im trying to say.
This relates to me because I play sports and im not the best at because I fail, but I can take those failures and l can learn from it so I can become even better than I was before. This is why I think this quote pertains to me it is actually telling everyone to do better in what they do. This is what this quote means

I think this because even though I'm injured now when I used to do sports I would also fail many times and learn from them to become better at the goal I set for myself.

This quote means if you fail then you can always try again and when you try again this time than you can be better in knowing what not to do in the test or situation. This quote means so much to me because it means to take risks and make mistakes to learn from them.
ReplyDeleteThis quote is a different reflection on peoples lives because they use this quote everyday without realizing. This quote is related to my life because in dance we need to make mistake and take the risks we did because we would learn from our mistakes and others. When we watch other people preform we are not doing it to make fun of them we are doing it so we can learn if they make mistakes so we don't do the same thing. Dancers do this so that when we get on the stage or when we are performing we could fix ourselves to our own perfection. This quote means so much to dancers because if we take risks and we mess up or fail then we get back up and try it again but better this time because we know what to do now.
I think you have an interesting interpretation of this quote, Jessie, and I think you're right. It is definitely about taking risks and such. I'm sure it's a very inspirational quote to many famous people.

You can't be known as a quitter. This may also mean many times people feel deeply sad, angry and frustrated because they fail in many things they try. I have felt many times like this as well. It´s very hard when I try to do something and after many attempts I fail. It´s hard when effort seems to not work as it should do; but I have learned that failure is simply the opportunity to begin again but more intelligently.
ReplyDeleteTheir are real life examples of this because every time you fail you have the choice to give up or to try again, this time with new knowledge and experiences that will help you to make fewer mistakes. I have read some stories of people who have failed so many times before getting what they wanted, people like Michael Jordan, Thomas Edison and others well known people who learned through their failures.
In my opinion, failure is not a devil that is there to torment you but a guide to teach you what you should not do next time. If you are intelligent enough to get the meaning and lesson of failure you will be able to reduce to possibilities to fail in a specific area next time; so, at the end you will find the correct way to achieve your goal. The difference between a loser and a winner is not the amount of mistakes they make but the profits they obtain from those mistakes to.
I agree with what you say Chris. I agree because I think that sometimes people do get upset and fustrated. They just need to get up and try again. This is meaningful because this quote many scientists use everyday. This quote people also use in their lives without realizing sometimes.

What Henry Ford is trying to say is that failure is a learning moment and a drive for success. This relates to the real world because Tomas Edison tried 1000 times to build the light bulb but it was the 1001 try that was a success. This relates to me because in 7th grade I failed then the next year I passed because I learned that I had to try or I would fail.
ReplyDeletea wise man name henry ford once said "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently." what I think henry ford is trying to say is that when you fail at something don't give up. failure Is just an excuse to not try again. also he means that when you fail at something and you try again make sure that you think about what your doing and that you learn from your mistakes from the last time you failed. so that way you can not make mistakes and not fail. this quote relates to my life because my first year that I did football I quit. the only reasons why I quit is because I didn't know what I was doing and I didn't like playing the sport at first. then the next year came and I knew what I was doing a little but I didn't know much. every time I would mess up the coach would scream at me for messing up. the last three games of the year I didn't play because I didn't know what I was doing. then the next year came and I finally started to comprehend what my coach was teaching me. that year is when I started to love football. after that I've been playing ever sense. each year that I have been playing I started learning from my mistakes and I started to get better because I was listening to my coaches and I started learning from my mistakes. that is what henry ford means when he said that quote.
ReplyDeleteI agree George. You should not give up you should just try again and fix the mistakes that lead to failure and keep fixing the mistakes until you are perfect. I mean when I first started football I could only run one one-hundred before stopping now I can do three now I under stand its not as much as the rest of the team but it is an improvement.
DeleteI agree with you when you say some people see failure is just another excuse for giving up and not trying again. I also play sports and understand what you mean that you didn't know what you were doing so you just gave up. I did the same thing the first time I ever played softball. And because I tried again the first season it's my favorite sport to play and I and one of the top players on my team.

I think Henry Ford’s quote means that it is okay to fail and make mistakes, so after we can fix them. When Henry talks about “beginning again more intelligently,” he means that we should be aware of the mistake you made and own up to it. For example if you touched a flame coming from your stove it wouldn’t make any sense to touch it again because you learned from your mistakes. That is what I think Henry Ford is talking about when he says "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently."

One example, is when I was around (4 or 5) I had just gotten a new tea ball and I wanted to play some tea ball, but the problem was that I didn’t have a bat so not knowing any better I decide I would try to “borrow” one from Wal-Mart. And as you could have guessed things didn’t go so well and I learned my lesson that shop lifting is bad and to never do it again. That is how I can apply Henry Ford’s quote "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently," To my own life.
Henry Ford once said that, "Failure is simply an oppurtunity to begin once again, this time more intelligently." What this quote means is that if you do not succeed at something, it is not the end of the world; You can just learn from your mistakes and improve your efforts next time. So if you fail a class per se, you will have acquired knowledge of how to pass next time due to that experience. Another example is if you try to get a job you desire but are rejected, you can improve your abilities and make several more attempts until your goal is fulfilled. Perhaps you will not be able to get that specific job, but if you give an effort you will get some sort of position in the work place eventually. Something is better than nothing, although that does not mean that you should not try and acheive your goals and such.

Henry Ford said that "Failure is simply an opportunity to begin once again, this time more intelligently". I interpret this quote as if you fail at something, try and do it again and try harder or do better the next time. If you don't succeed at something, don't quit or make a fuss about it. Just make a second attempt and do better than you did prior when you tried. Trying more and practicing more helps you excel in what you're doing or playing.
ReplyDeleteI began playing basketball when I was in third grade and I wasn't the best player on the team. For example, I didn't make too many points when I took shots. Whether it was games or just practices or scrimmages. Although, the more I played and practiced I got better over time and I never quit. I was making more shots and was able to play better than I did before. I still shoot hoops at my house with my brothers and I think I've definitely improved since I started in 2008. The more you try and work hard the better you can become at what you're trying or want to do. Practice and effort can benefit you in many ways especially if you work hard doing so. My advice is to try and train for your specific thing you want to excel or accomplish and you may just get better at it.

What I think this great quote means is simply when you fail get back up and try again and never QUIT. It means to keep trying and eventually you'll end up succeeding. Ms. Bocchino picked another excellent quote this week. I can easily relate to this quote in many ways I'm a wrestler, so when I lose a match I don't quit wrestling. I go harder every match and get better, for example my first year of wrestling I was butt at wrestling but I practiced harder and did more clubs, the next year I went undefeated. So simply don't quit if you fail because you don't know what you can become, if I quit after my first year I would've never been better than my brother at wrestling, but now I am. Finally, I think this quote means if you get knocked down get back up. That is what I think the quote " failure is simply an optional to begin once again, more intelligently this time" by Henry ford, means.

I think that this quote is saying that when you fail, it closes doors but at the same time opens new ones.I can relate to this quote because I have failed several times in my life.One time, I was trying to muster up the courage to get on roller coasters. I was at six flags and I was on line for El Toro and I was just about to enter my seat but I saw a cart i motion go down the first drop and I immediately got scared again. I was about to walk twords the exit until I heard my friend Adrian call my name. I was really scared to go on alone but I went on with Adrian and I loved it. In the end, My fear s what knocked me down and It was my friend that built me back up. After that I decided to try more coasters like Nitro, Batman and Bizzaro. This was a new door that had just opened up to me and It was a new beginning. This quote relates to the world in countless ways such as a man being rejected for a job he truly wanted but the next day he was offered a job that payed ten fold of the job he wanted in the first place. Another example would be how a sports team loses a game but works together to build each other up, become stronger and better themselves for their games to come. Failure inspires us to try harder and do better for ourselves so that we may taste the sweet nector that is success and achieve victory. This what I think Henry Ford's inspiring quote tells us.

This quote means to me that no matter what you do or how good you are you are most likely to fail. Things take time and everything and failure happenes for a reason. Just because you fail once or a couple of times at something doesn't mean you can't make up a new strategy to go about something. Everything takes time and effort.
ReplyDeleteThis quote relates to my life in many ways. Over the past summer I started high school feild hockey. It was very different from the middle school team, we had to put in a lot more work and effort then I have ever did befor. The diet cupple weeks were very hard, and I thought I should quit because I wasn't as good as the varsity girls. I told my parents that I was going to quit but they told me I couldn't I had to try harder and work harder if I wanted to become as the older girls. I didn't want to listen to them but I did I pushed through the summer practices and tried my hardest. As the school season started my hard work and effort payed off. Now I start the junior varsity games, because I tried and didn't give up even though I failed the fist cupple of weeks. This quote mean hard work and dedication pays off. And sometimes you just have to go about things a different way to succeed.
Henry once quoted "failure is simply the oppurtunity to begin, this time more intelligently." I think he meant that just because you fail something...doesnt mean to give up. It means to simply try again and suceed the next time. Your less likely to ace a drivers ed test the first time given so yu retake it. And suceed. You just were prepared the second time. And you knew what life was going to throw at you so you achieved your goal in the long run but henry ford is saying that the first time you fail is a great motivation to just start all over again && the next time be more wise and alert and most definitely prepared.
