I think what hes trying to say is that you learn from your mistakes and you now when you get in the same situation you know what to do and how to avoid that problem again. it also is like that sayimg trial and error were you do something and you test it or check what you did and fix your mastake and make it better. I have gone through the proses of trial and error when i was making a charicacter from a cartoon out of legos it took a wyal but came out really good and was wearth all the hard work. I can really relate to this quote because i like to make things and create diffierent monsters and creatures and people and superheros. I think people in this world give up to easaly because they have to put effort into something or because others thought different of what they did or they disliked what they did. there are also people who get really jelious of others achivments and get really mean towards them. People think that they got something wrong so now there a faliure or stupid or not inportant. this quote also means that if you ge something wrong dont just quite you have to fix what you get wrong and make that thing better in the end and achieve your goals. Sometimes what one person thinks is the opiset of what another person thinks so dont just setale on one persons opinion ask aroud thats if you are trying to sell a product or object. People need to stop saying i cant and start saying i can do you think Thomas Edison gave up when he made a mistake on the light bulb did Bengimen Franklin give up when he made a mistake when creating electricity no if people stopped saying i cant and started to say i can then so many great things could get acompleshed and many awesome things can get discoverd. The problem with humanity is that others take what others think to heart and then quite so what im saying is mistakes are there to help you in the long run and not to give up when times get tough.

DeleteI agree, I personally looked at the quote as it being when you fail you should work harder at it. I can see where your coming from with the Trail and error. You always check your mistakes and make it better. I can also relate with the first line learning from your mistakes so you don't make the same problem again.
Deletei definitely agree with you, I think if you fail you get right back up and try it again. If you fail again then it is time to take a different approach to whatever it is that you are about to or want to accomplish. Eventuality you will get it or you will meet someone who will show you the right way to do or get what you want. This quote dose not mean that if you fail the answer will just come to you, you will still need to work for it whether it comes to something as simple as a math problem or coming up to your midlife crises. You will still need to work for it.

Also you will learn from your mistakes and you will eventually get it right the next time. Everyone will fail sometimes and it is good because you know next time how to fix your mistakes. If I ever fail at something I won't just put my head down and give up I am going to keep trying until I succeed. This relates to me because one time I failed a test and was really upset but I didn't give up that easy, I asked my teacher if I could retake my test and he said yes and I passed the test and I was really proud of myself by trying again.

We have all had times where we ended up failing.This reminds me of a quote by Henry Ford," Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently". I believe by this he means that if you love something and you try and work hard at it but you end up failing you always have the choice to get back up and try again. If you do get back up it shows that you love and desire the goal that failing is not a fear ,its a chance to not give up and chance to keep trying.Its shows passion and no fear of failing.Also, it shows that you should have no fear of failing.This is because if you do fail you always can start over and rework your way up.This quote can relate to anyone.Personally, I have a passion,a desire to be something,to make people happy.Sometimes though my own problems in life drag me down and i get confused and lost in life and i forget what I'm doing .sometimes i fail at making people smile and making myself smile.Then in the end I always remember that i have the choice to not give up.To get up and try again.When I did try again I solved my own problems and helped solved others.I started to make them laugh and smile and soon enough i was smiling myself. ReplyDeleteThis quote has a special meaning to it. The meaning is that if you end up failing, you automatically figure what when wrong and you beat that one thing that failed you in the beginning. Everyone has failed at least once in their life. How this quote states "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently" it says that once you get back and realize what when wrong you go at it again but this time with intelligence. You have to be smart and think smart that way you know exactly what to do. Failing is hard because it stops what your trying to achieve but it's only trying to make you be smarter that way you know the next time you don't make the same mistake. It relates to my life because one day I was playing soccer and I failed terribly on shooting. This was when I was like 9-10 years old. I didn't really know much about the game. But know I train at shooting know I make shots from far away. And before I hesitated on taking shots because I thought I will always miss. An example would be Is if you failed the 9th grade you try it again just this time work harder at it. Another good example could be is if you are going to be trying to get a job in the Medical department and you fail the test to become a doctor you have to try again this time you have to try harder for it. It may also mean that lets say your in the Military and your planning a surprise attack. The first surprise attack did not go very good and you lost a lot of troops. What you can do is look at what you did wrong in the first surprise attack and be smarter about how you work on the new surprise attack. I can relate this quote to me by when I was younger I was really bad at the game chess. I always lost and lost and lost I never could beat any of my family members so I started trying to win. I practiced harder at it and I was coming up with tactics instead of guesses and I started to win i first beat my brother when I was nine. Even though I beat him I still had to beat my dad which toke a lot more effort and time but I finally started thinking of good plans to beat him and when i was eleven I finally beat him now i can beat my whole family.

First of all, this quote means that when you fail, you will get more chances. Also, every time you fail, you should learn from your mistakes and next time, use your brain and do it right. Getting an opportunity to begin something again mostly pertains to failing because basically no matter what you’ll always get a second chance and 9 times out of 10 you will be more intelligent and try your hardest not to fail again. Henry Ford’s quote also relates to me in my life, in many ways. The first way is in sports, every time I strike out, miss a shot in basketball, or drop a pass in football, I always keep my head up, forget about it, find out why I failed and try again. It also relates to me in school, whenever I fail a test or start failing a class I’d tries my hardest to get it to where it needs to be, and next time id study harder and do more homework. I think this because in science class i learned that if you fail, you should not think all af your effort is a waste of time and you didnt learn anything. If you fail you at least learned what NOT to do and see how you can improve. In 7th grade i bombed most of my classed because i was not trying my best and i did not care school and i did very poorly and i went from all A track classes to B track Language arts and Math. I then realized that i needed to try harder or i will get held back and i passed the 7th grade and i now put school on a higher priority and i did well my 8th grade year of school and hopefully my freshman year too.
ReplyDeleteHenry Ford probrobly failed a lot but also had a lot more successions then failure because he lived by his quote and fixed his mistakes. Henry Ford was a very succesful person and a pattern i am beginning to see is that successful and smart people make the best quotes that really give life changing morals. I might read a lot more quotes and find out what they mean so i can learn a lot of cool lessons.
Henry Ford one said " failure is simply the opportunity to begin again this more intelligently." I think this quote means you should never give up . in life everything you do your trying. I learned to never give up when my cousin gave me a job to do and I couldn't finish so I gave up and it dauned on me that I shouldn't give up so I went back to finish and I didn't give up . when someone tells me to do something I always try my best till something goes wrong . you should always have faith in yourself and never take your self in the wrong pattern cause you aren't believing that you cant do anything ,like in school I fail a test and I give up and then later on I study more and then go back to make it up . I think this quote is a good example .

Just do it with a little bit more thinking through then you did the first time.This quote just simply means that if you failed to just Think how you really did feel and how you didn't think the plant through at first. Feeling something doesn't actually mean that your failure it means that you did something wrong and you just have to think what you did wrong through and then just get right back up on the horse and do it all over again just think it through this time. Having said this quote shows it can go with a lot of things. For example schoolwork like if you fail a test and you didn't study the first time do you think that the next time that you're actually going to study and not fail ? To me this quote has a lot of meanings to it but I don't really know how to Like write them down so I'm not gonna. But for one this quote can go with a lot of things in life school,sports,life in general work anything that you failed just the next time that you get up to do what you failed to think it through before you actually go through with the actual plan make sure you like pre-right or something. Never give up. If you do a sport, for example, soccer and you miss the net, don't quit soccer for good. You will be taught how to fix the mistake you made. You learn from your mistakes. That basically means when you do something wrong, you see how to prevent from doing that same mistake again. Failing at things actually is a good thing sometimes. Think about it this way. If you don't learn from your failures how will you ever know what to do? How will you learn how to do it right? Never get down on yourself when you fail. Always get back up because you will always learn from the mistakes you have made. This can to relate to me in so many ways.One out of the many things is cheer. My first year being a flyer and I wasn't that great at it. The stunt I had to was a straight up one leg extension. Its where you stand on one leg and the bases are holding you really high, so you had to keep your balance.Well when I first tried it I failed completely. My coach told me what to do and how to keep my balance, and taught me what to not do. It helped me ALOT. When you think about it, failing can be extremely helpful in ways.

I said that in my paragraph about how you can always learn from the mistake you made. To make it better. Because when you did that stunt you learned how to fix the mistakes and we finally got you up there! And from not getting it right and knowing what we did wrong. Even when you mess up, you still have an opportunity to make it better. Begin again, and try not to make the same mistake you did before. Trying again with smarter choices. For example, when I missed a ball in volleyball. I didn't give up I talked to the coach, and tried to see what I could've made better. So instead of making the same mistake I did before. I just thought about how I could fix it. What choices I could make to, get to the ball faster and he able to pass it. So saying that you messed up and having a second chance to try again is something everyone can do. You just have to believe you can do it again, but with different actions to make sure you don't make the same mistake again. Now with volleyball everyone misses a pass or two. But instead of still going with what your doing. Seeing you messed up, and trying to fix it is exactly what this quote is saying. Some people make mistakes but it's how they come back from there mistake, and making sure they don't do it again.

Also I think this quot means that if you Fail you will learn from your mistakes and it will teach you nnot to do them again. This relates to me as in a baseball game I tried bunting to this and the guy was a good player so when I did that I got out so now I knew I shouldn't do that so next game I binned to forest and I made. Also when I was skiing I thought I could do black diamonds so I went down or and it was so step that I took my skis of and walled down and then on I never went down a black diamond. ReplyDeleteThis quote relates to me because of a baseball icon. He is Derek Jeter. He will never quit. He always tries his best. If he makes an error he will shack it off and make the next play. He has a great attitude toward people. He doesnt talk to anyone like he is better than him. He thinks that everyone is equal to him. That what makes him a great baseball player and a great person overall.

I believe this quote could relate to another quote, "If at first you don't succeed try try again." These quotes have a very similar meaning. They're both based around the topic of always trying harder and harder to try and accomplish something you believe in. Especially if you fail, because then you know you did something wrong so you may easily correct it ! Henry Ford is a very smart man and I believe he spoke the truth many people need to hear. He's saying that the realization of learning is based all around failing, that they go hand in hand. I believe this is very true and people need to realize this. Not only is this a quote I very heavily relate with but I also believe that other people will and this will help them a lot. We lost so badly and it made us all upset a lot of girls gave up but a few had hope. The girls who had hope saw the failures as a way to get better and to work harder. We practiced hard and work our butts off in practice. We took our any failures and made them into chances to get better and that’s how we learned to work hard in order to be successful. This is a smart quote and can be used for anyone who is trying something new or simply is failing but is willing to try again. If people see this for the first time I believe it will inspire people to never give up. This relates to my personal life with my favorite basketball player Carmelo Anthony. The New York Knicks are a team who struggled last year following a great year just before that. As a result Carmelo and the team must figure out what went wrong out there. Was it ball hogging, no defense, or simply just bad playing? All in all he knows not to give up and has been practicing this entire offseason. Now that he and his team have failed, I believe he has found out what they did wrong and next season will have corrected all their mistakes and become a playoff contender again. ReplyDeleteThis relates a experience that I had in my life cause in sports and school when I did bad on any work or a sports game I make sure so then next time I don't do the same thing. When I played baseball and had a bad game I would make sure that the next one I would do 110% better. Also in school if I had a bad test grade or class work grade I would study and make sure that next time I would ace it unstead of failing or a low passing grade.

ReplyDeleteThis quote reminds me of the time I was failing 7th grade. I was going to give up and fail the year and take summer school. My teachers told me to just try, that its not that hard and I did I passed and made it to 8th grade. I was going to give up because I failed, but I was inspired and did not. I passed because of it. I will be a more successful person because of this quote, I will never give up and always try my hardest, until I succeed or die.
I totally agree with you. I agree with you because we wrote very similar things saying that if you dont give 100% all the time you wont succeed. Also we used very similar examples saying that we did very bad in the 7th grade and we did well in the 8th grade.

What I think that means is that if you fail, you should try, and try again until you succeed. For example when I try difficult tricks and I fall I try to do it again, but this will result in another failure, but I will keep on trying this until I suceed and when I do it makes me feel like the effort I put in was worth it after all the time and practice.
ReplyDeleteAnother example was when I was training my dog their was some points in where I felt like giving up because it go stressful but I did not, and I eventualy teached him all of of the basics and intermediate tricks there was two to be teach. Resulting in me being very proud and happy that he suceeded and passed the training of the test. Then he went on to complete the stages of the puppy class and continued on from the basics to the advanced class/classes. As a result he graduated with a diploma and a cap.
So what I think that Mr. Henry Ford's quote mainly meant was that no matter how difficult life is you should never give up, and always try your best in life until you successfully succed in your goals and dreams.

We all want to be perfect at things when we first try them, but no one is really able to do this. If we give up too soon and say “I can’t,” We will miss out on so much fun and gratification. When I first learned to ski, I fell a lot and it really was not much fun. But I tried to correct my mistakes each time I went, and now skiing is one of my favorite things to do in the winter. Every time I get to fly down the mountain, I am glad I took the opportunity to learn from those first failures.
