Henry Ford once said "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently" I think this means that when you fail at something next time, when you try again you get cause you know what you are doing. This can relate to people who has the game geometry dash because when you do the levels and die, you fail until you keep doing it and you'll beat it. You died and then beat it this time more intelligently. This quote can relate to my life and other peoples lives because when you first play basketball your not gonna get your crossover and your shot the first time you do it. The more you fail at doing something the more you getter better because you learn and pick up all the things not to do the next time you do it. This can also relate to my life because one time in my life i tried jumping over my leg and i kept failing at it, now i can do it no problem because i know what i'm doing. This is how this quote is related to my life and other peoples lives. You should always fail at what you do because when you do fail you can learn from it. Failing is not always the best thing but to be honest its good for you. DeleteWhat Henry Ford meant by, "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” Is that ounce you fail you can always do it a again but better because you will be expecting what will happen. A experice that would realate to this quote was when I got a test in 8th grade I failed it because I was a dingus and didn’t study because I was to “busy” playing video games and I kept putting my homework and study guides aside. When I failed the test I went into the failing zone so when the next test came around I studied like a crazy man and I got a good grade on the test and it boosted my grade a lot. But sometimes this quote is not so correct. Let’s say if you got a drug test and you were caught doing drugs. You can’t ask to retake it because the drugs came through. But however the quote does make a good point in a sense of something not super important like a video game mission because you can keep redoing that mission until you complete it and The quote is good at cheering people up after they lose a football or any competition because there really will be a next time. The people that run the operation won’t say, “You can’t redo it because you lost the first time.” So that’s what the quote means this week.

ReplyDeleteYou have to fail before you succeed. This quote means to me that just because I failed don't try again . It means try harder see what you did wrong and fix it . Alawys try to make improvements. Your gonna have to crack a few eggs before you make and omelet.
To me everything you have said is completely true. Its just like baking a cake for the first time its obviously not gonna be perfect, so the next time you make a cake you'll have more knowledge on what to do. Practice makes perfect that's what I've been told since I was a young girl and everyone should live by it. You have to fail before you succeed, just like you said in your response.

This quote can relate to my life because when i first started ice skating i could never do it. I kept on leaning against the wall and getting frustrated with myself. But as i kept on practicing i got better each time i went skating. So eventually i got a lot better and started to play ice hockey. When i started to play with other kids i didn't know what to do because i was never in a game situation before.I learned how to play but more intelligently.I started when i was around 8 years old and im still playing right now. Now i fly around the ice hockey rink like nothing. This quote can make a lot of people happy to because when they lose a football game or hockey game and they think that they didn't play good. ReplyDeleteWhat Henry Ford meant when he said "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently" was even though you make a mistake you will know how to not make the same one again. This quote reminds me of when I was trying to make my channel work for YouTube and there were many things that went wrong. When I tried to set up my channel the things that were needed i thought were the parts and then find more about what I needed. The thing that made the most mistakes was my voice, when recording I was having so much trouble trying to find what would work. It may have taken' three months to get my channel started, even though there was failure I found out how to get it working. If you think I am lying you can ask one of my friends Adam Miller or John Moores and they will tell you. Another thing that this quote reminds me of is the game Destiny, because of a cut scene that was in the game. The person that was narrating and talking about the scene, he mentioned as the universe was being corrupted and was the end. It was also a beginning for something that could be great. So what the quote really means is that even if you fail at something, it means that you could have a second opportunity to do it again but this time know what it is that you screwed up on and find out how you can fix it. I think that this quote means that when you fail once and you go to do what ever you were doing again you do it better than what you did before. For example in 7th and 8th grade I did field hockey and when I first started I wasn't good at all at hitting the ball. Once I hit it good then I hit it bad I tried it again and I did better than I did last time. This proves that you can get better even i you think you can't. Nothing makes you fail. It's the effort you put into something! I think this is a good quote because it's true! If you fail you get back up and do it again and you'll be a little bit better than you were before. Another example is volleyball. When I first started I couldn't pass the ball at all. When I failed I tried again and I finally got it. It's takes time but you'll eventually get it.I think that you should fail at something. It's not good but you know now what you did wrong and that you can improve it. I think this quote means that if you fail at something it doesn't mean its your last chance to succeed it just means you need to get back up and try again at what you failed at again, but this time you have to try harder. I think that it is very important to get back up and keep trying, because if you don't get back up and try again after you have failed then you wont succeed. ReplyDeleteThis quote relates to an experience in my life quite a few times. An experience would be a time when I was dancing at dance rehearsing our dance number and I did one of the jumps wrong but I didn't stop, I kept going. At that point I failed wanted to give up but I kept going, and that second time we practiced I did it perfectly. Now I know that every time I fail it just means that I need to get back up, believe In myself and keep going. I think that Henry Ford has very wise word and I think that everyone should follow this quote.
I agree to this because I think you should get back up and keep trying also. You should always try and do it again because you'll get better than how you were. I can relate because at one point I too have failed but I did get back up and try again.

I agree with Kenny in this situation. He is right when he says how you can make mistakes as long as you learn from them. Also, when he explains his examples about when he's in class, and playing video games you can tell that he understands this quote and its definition. He explains how this quote means that you can get second chances, and that you shouldn't be scared to take those second chances.

I think that he means that if you fail at something, the next time you have a chance to do it correctly because you have already done it. For example, last year in my math class, I failed a quiz because I wasn’t good with that lesson. Once I got the grade back and I saw how bad it was, I stayed after to work on that lesson. When the test came, I passed it because I learned from my failure. Also, when I was younger, I wanted to try and play soccer. After my first year, I wanted to quit and never play again because I wasn’t good at it. After a ton of practicing, I became much better at it. You can always learn from your mistakes. For another example, think back to when Benjamin Franklin found out what electricity was. He probably failed countless times, but he didn’t give up and he learned from his mistakes. If he gave up after he failed, we would probably have no electricity today. If you don’t succeed, try try again. It may take a few tries and you think you can’t do it, but if you tell yourself not to give up and to keep at it, you may finally do it correctly.

ReplyDeleteI can relate to this quite a lot. At a point in my life I didn't study for any tests. And i failed them all. I knew after i failed that I had a chance to try again. And i knew to act more “intelligently” like Henry said. To think more about how I can succeed this problem. And i knew that what i did wrong was that i didn't study. So i knew next time to study. To me this means that when you try the first time you don't really know what your getting yourself into, but when you try again you have more knowledge about it. Its like jumping rope for the first time. At first you mess up trying to do it, but then you try again knowing what exactly you have to do. No one ever knows exactly what to do the first time they try something, but after you try you have all the information floating around your head. You have to try to succeed. The first time I tried to play the flute I couldn't even get a sound out of it because i had no knowledge on what to do. I understood though what I had to do for it to work. I took the knowledge i learned and that's what helped me get my first notes out. Can you imagine looking at this beautiful shiny instrument, wanting to play it, but scared to fail or mess up? I was terrified I had no idea what to do. As the days went on though i got better and better. I took the knowledge i had learned from the previous days and was able to play my instrument more intelligently then I was able to the first time I failed.

DeleteHenry Ford once said, "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently." what I think this quote means is that you are going to fail over and over again but that will only make you smarter for the next thing you want to accomplish in life.it is so easy to fail in this world you call life but it each time you fail you learn something from that and it will eventually add up to help you not fail so much. its crazy to think that no one is perfect in life and everyone fails at doing something in life but most of the time people learn from it to only make it better for them selves. this relates to my life very well actually because going into seventh grade I wanted to play football but I was 30 pounds over weight and I started to run three months befor football started and when my first game came I was ten pounds over weight and I was very mad at my self but I only knew that even tho I failed doesn't mean I will always fail so I kept pushing my self the next game came and I was over weight for that one to so I was so done with not playing in games. I was so upset and mad that I kept failing but then it hit me that each time I fail in life I will only get better a be smarter with everything do for now on. I got up to running 5 miles a day and eating little bit at a time because I knew that failing was necessary and I would only get better at the things I do in life.

When you give up it's just showing that you were too lazy to try again, that you were too lazy to learn a lesson and try again. For example, if I failed every day time after time, eventually I would want to quit. But if I had quit, I would never have known how good I could of been. One example of this is that I used to be too fat and slow. Since I was fat and slow, I always lost and always got the ball stolen from me in basketball. So I kept failing and failing until I came to a realization. My realization was that I have to get better and that I had to lose weight. After that I started running daily. Within a month I had lost 30 pounds

You have to learn in life and go through tough times. Sometimes you don’t understand the events that occur in your life. But from these events you should learn and not make these mistakes again. Also after you make mistakes you know that you shouldn’t do it again so you wont fail again. Just like if you fail a test and you know what answers you get wrong, you now know that you should’ve studies a little harder. I practiced so hard and I was determined to join the team. I went outside after school and practiced my butt off until I can practice anymore. But when I went to go tryout I didn’t make the team. I did not know why but I was willing to do anything to join next year. So I spent the whole next summer I practiced so I can join the team. I worked 100x harder then I did before. When you fail at something it doesn’t mean to give up because you will do it better your second try. For example, when I started playing basketball a while ago, I wasn’t really that good. I couldn’t make jump shots for my life or I couldn’t dribble that well. I used to almost want to stop playing because I couldn’t do it. Over time I started to get better because I tried again but this time more “intelligently” just like in Henry Ford’s quote. Now I am really good and I am going to try out for the Freshman Basketball team. This quote could make people really think about not giving up because they failed but to try again because they will be more intelligent than the first time. What Henry Ford meant by this is that you shouldn’t worry about failing because it just gives you a chance to start over and plan what you’re doing in a smarter way. By failing, you get more chances to do it over and have it end successfully. If you just quit once you fail, you’ll never know how good you could of done or how many people’s lives you could of changed. Whenever you fail it gives you a chance to get better and better each time you fail. Failure is a part of life and it is going to happen. Since it’s vital for you to learn you should at least learn from your mistakes so you don’t make the same mistakes multiple times. What I am trying to say is that failing is just a key to success. God never closes one door without opening an other door. Michael Jordan once said that he has failed over and over in his life and that is why he succeeded. Michael Jordan has failed many times in his life. For example, Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. Also, he kept failing to beat the Detroit Pistons and he never could. Eventually he outsmarted the Pistons and got his championship. That is my definition of Henry Ford’s quote.

What I think Henry Ford meant by this quote is that if you made a mistake on a life choice or on something you did, and you realized what was the mistake. Then ater on if the life choice or the thing you did comes back, you will know what to do and you will not make the same mistake again because the mistakes you do are lessons or life lessons you learn. Anyway I can relate to Henry Fords quote to my life when I forget to study and then the next day I have no clue what to do and end up getting a very bad grade.Therefore this mistake I repeat it a lot and I do learn from it too, but I still continue to chose to make it again. Anyway another way I can relate to this quote is when it comes to choosing to do my homework later at night and this is a thing I do and a mistake as well that I had learn form and repeat it a lot too. Therefore what I learn by this mistake is that if you do your homework later at night you're going to have time running away from you and you will end up not finishing it too.
